Our daily rates are designed to cover everything you need for a comfortable, professionally guided hunting experience in Namibia.
All prices are in US Dollar.
1 × 1 Hunting Safari
One hunter accompanied by one Professional Hunter US$570 per hunter, per day
2 × 1 Hunting Safari
Two hunters accompanied by one Professional Hunter US$410 per hunter, per day
Non-Hunting Guests / Travel Days / Arrival and Departure Day
Applicable to arrival, departure and travel days US$280 per person, per day
What Your Daily Rate Includes
Your daily rate includes:
- 15% VAT on all daily rates
- Services of a licensed professional hunter, expert trackers and skinners
- Fully equipped 4×4 hunting vehicle
- Field preparation of trophies
- Accommodation and all meals
- Laundry service
- Beer, wine and spirits - in moderation
- Transfers to and from airport and hunting areas
- Applicable licence fees
What Is Not Included
The following costs are not included in the daily rate:
- Trophy fees (per list) for animals taken, hit, wounded or lost
- Dipping and Shipping of trophies
- Rent of firearm at US$40/day
- Ammo at US$7
- Air travel, hotels & meals prior to and after hunt
- Staff gratuities
- Medical and travel insurance
- 15% VAT for wounded and/or lost animals
- Premium drinks at US$100 per bottle
Bookings, Payments & Cancellations
Confirming Your Safari
A US$3,000 deposit is required to secure your reservation.
Your safari is considered confirmed once Schalk Pienaar Safaris Namibia has received both the required deposit and a signed copy of the Terms & Conditions.
Full payment of the applicable daily rates is required one month before the scheduled hunting date.
Final Payment
The remaining balance of the safari invoice is payable upon completion of the hunt.
Payment may be made in cash or by bank transfer into the account reflected on the invoice. Bank transfers must be completed no later than five days after the conclusion of the safari.
Please note that ATM facilities may not be available in the hunting areas.
No trophies will be released to a taxidermist until the safari invoice has been settled in full.
Unless otherwise agreed, all payments are to be made in US Dollars.
Cancellation Policy
If a safari is cancelled by the client:
- More than 6 months before the safari: the deposit will be refunded at the exchange rate applicable when the original funds were received and banked.
- Less than 2 months before the safari: the deposit will be forfeited.
- Less than 1 month before the safari: all funds paid will be forfeited.
Leopard Hunting Package
Experience one of Africa’s most specialised and demanding hunts with a dedicated 16-day leopard hunting package.
The package includes:
- 16 hunting days for one hunter
- Leopard tag fee
- Two bait zebras for pre-baiting
Package Price: US$30,000
Additional bait zebras are available at US$800 per zebra. Bait animals are not exportable.
Wingshooting Package
Enjoy some of Namibia’s exceptional wingshooting as part of your safari experience.
US$770 per person, per day
Shotgun ammunition is charged separately at US$25 per box of 25 shells.
Other Packages
Elephant, Buffalo, Hippo, Crocodile - Price on request.
A Word on Safety
The safety and wellbeing of our guests remain a priority throughout every safari, and every reasonable precaution is taken while you are in our care.
However, Schalk Pienaar Safaris Namibia cannot accept responsibility for illness, accident, injury, loss or any associated expenses arising during travel or the safari.
We therefore strongly recommend that every guest obtains comprehensive travel and medical insurance before departure, including adequate cover for personal belongings, baggage, medical treatment and safari-related activities.
