The ghost of the bush
The Bushbuck is one of Africa's most elusive antelope. Its rich brown coat, white markings and compact build allow it to disappear almost completely into thick vegetation.
A mature ram stands approximately 2½–3 feet at the shoulder and can weigh around 100–175 lbs.
Hunting the Bushbuck
Bushbuck hunting is often a close-range game of patience. They prefer dense cover and are most active during the cooler parts of the day.
Finding an old ram and slipping through thick bush to get within range is an intimate and rewarding African hunting experience.
